Japan Benefit Series & New Artist: Clara C

Rock Band Relief is proud to announce a new song series benefitting the American Red Cross relief effort following the tragic series of disasters in Japan. Each time you download a song from this new series for Rock Band 3, a portion of the artist's proceeds will be matched by Rock Band Relief and donated to the Red Cross in support of their disaster relief operations currently underway in Japan.

The first artist contributing a track for the Japan Benefit Series is singer/songwriter, Clara C. We are so excited to be bringing Clara's beautiful song, Heartstrings, to the Rock Band Network for this great cause. While the young artist's friendly, DIY-style performance videos show off her live performance skills and charming approachability, her album, The Art in My Heart, is a polished work with gorgeous production value. With her breathtaking vocals, sometimes quirky instruments and lush, layered arrangements, multi-instrumentalist, Clara C, has built a loyal following of over 100,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel in little over a year.

Interested in joining the RBN community? Rock Band Relief Executive Director and Authoring Lead, John Griffin (aka "DJ Gryph"), will be taking you through every step of the authoring process as we turn Heartstrings into a playable track for the greatest rhythm gaming platform of all time. Watch the process unfold in the coming weeks in "Finding the Rhythm," an extensive new YouTube series you'll find on DJ Gryph's YouTube channel.

Find out more about Clara C and hear more of her music on her artist spotlight page. Be sure to follow us on Twitter and Facebook to stay up on our latest news and to be eligible for our prize giveaways!
